We had the best experience with District Remix as our DJ. We had Dan as our DJ. Everyone we worked with was helpful, professional, extremely nice, and extremely fun. Dan was attentive at the wedding and made sure everyone was having a good time. Though we just met him, it felt like we had known him forever. When planning our wedding, the music was a huge priority for us. We had Dan for a DJ and we very impressed! Leading up to our wedding, he was attentive, organized, and made suggestions to make sure the night would be the best possible. During the reception, he noticed the guests eyeing up the cupcakes and suggested some itinerary changes that made the night go smoothly and kept all the guests involved. Music was really important to us so we research several area DJs before we settled on a DJ. At the last minute we had a DJ substitution which could have been stressful, but Dan was a champ. Not only did he go out of his way to learn about our wedding, music tastes and playlists, he read the room amazingly and had our guests dancing all night. He moved from our friend's 90s jams to our family's salsa and back to classic oldies so seamlessly that there wasn't a single person sitting down. Dan was our DJ and he was the absolute BEST! He was so organized and super great about keeping us in the loop with the schedule/timeline, and what was coming up next. He played all of the songs we requested and also was good about adding in songs that got everyone dancing. The dance floor was crowded and everyone was having the best time. He was also a fantastic MC- fun but still professional. I’ve been to a lot of weddings where the DJs are cheesy, and Dan was the complete opposite of that. The DJ definitely sets the tone for the reception, and Dan couldn’t have done a better job doing that. 11/10 recommend!! - Olivia
